Virtual Idol Kaede Higuchi Sings I’m Standing on a Million Lives 2nd Season OP Theme

Nijisanji’s virtual idol Kaede Higuchi has announced that she will sing the yet-titled OP theme song of the forthcoming second season of the TV anime I’m Standing on a Million Lives, which is set to premiere in Japan in July 2021.

She started her online activities in January 2018, then made her major debut as a virtual singer in March 2020, and has released one single and one album. This is her first anime theme song work, and it will be released in the summer of 2021.

Message from Kaede Higuchi:

I’m Kaede Higuchi, a virtual YouTuber who belongs to Nijisanji. I’ve had an opportunity to sing the OP theme for the second season of “I’m Standing on a Million Lives.” There are many moments where you can catch a glimpse of a junior high school student’s thought process, such as comparing the weight of their friends’ lives and how they tend to focus on themselves. This is a very interesting series with many scenes that make me suddenly think, “What would I do?” I can’t wait for the anime to air. I hope this song will be loved a lot by everyone!
