With over a month until it releases in Japan, Studio Khara confirmed in a Twitter post this morning that as of 8:10 AM JST on December 17, Evangelion: 3.0+1.0: Thrice Upon a Time is 100% complete, with all the work on the (Japanese) dubbing process and editing finished.

The tweet noted that before it was sent, Director Hideaki Anno went around to all the departments to tell them the good news and to congratulate them on their hard work. They expressed a fleeting joy that it was all now over! Khara also tweeted a photo taken by Anno of the last frame from the dubbing session, remarking that “It’s usually called the butt.”
