Scuttle Around With the So I’m a Spider, So What? TV Anime OP / ED Videos

Kumako, the tentatively titled protagonist of the So I'm a Spider, So What? TV anime, pulls a funny face in a scene from the first episode.

The broadcast and streaming have begun for So I’m a Spider, So What? (known in Japan as Kumo desu ga, Nani ka?), a TV anime based on the isekai fantasy light novel series written by Okina Baba and illustrated by Tsukasa Kiryu about an unassuming high school girl who reincarnates as a spider monster in a magical world, and now videos for the opening and ending theme animations are available to enjoy online.

The original So I’m a Spider, So What? light novels are published in Japan by Kadokawa under their Kadokawa Books imprint, and an English language version is also available from Yen Press. Crunchyroll currently streams the TV anime adaptation, and describes the story of So I’m a Spider, So What? as follows:

I, the protagonist, was just an ordinary high school girl, but suddenly I was reincarnated as a spider monster in a fantasy world. Not only that, but I awakened in a dungeon filled with vicious monsters. Armed with only my human knowledge and my overwhelming positivity, I’m forced to use spiderwebs and traps to defeat far stronger monsters just to stay alive… So begins the labyrinth survival story of a girl with incredible mental strength living as one of the lowest-ranked beasts!
