If the approach of Valentine’s Day has you in the mood for love, shoujo magazine Ribon is more than happy to provide. Their new collaboration unites a popular YouTube musical duo and one of their sweetest rom-com titles for a brand new music video.
The duo, SKYPEACE, penned their new tune “Shall We Dance!!!” as a theme song for the magazine. The song itself is about falling in love, but not knowing how to express that love to your chosen girl. Check out the new music video:
The video was made as a collaboration with Ui x Kon, the Ribon romance manga penned by Buddy Go! creator Minori Kurosaki. Kurosaki also drew tie-in art uniting SKYPEACE and her manga’s protagonist, which appears both in the MV and on promotional images and posters for the group’s new mini-disc:
Volume 5 of Ui x Kon comes out on February 25, and will include a crossover manga chapter in collaboration with SKYPEACE. Select vendors will incude a special sticker sheet with purchase:
“Shall We Dance!!!” is included on SKYPEACE’s latest mini-disc, Peace Peace, along with five other tracks. A standard version will be available, along with limited-edition runs with either band member Jin or Teo on the cover:
