Macross Delta Singer JUNNA’s Solo Concert Tour All Cancelled due to COVID-19 Concerns

The official website for 20-year-old singer JUNNA, known as the singing voice of Mikumo Guynemer in the Macross Delta anime franchise, has announced that all of the performances of her solo concert tour “JUNNA ROCK YOU TOUR 2021 ~20×20~” are canceled in response to the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic and the declaration of a state of emergency. The tour was scheduled to be held in Osaka, Tokyo, and Nagoya from February 6 to 21. All tickets already purchased will be refunded.

The website writes, “As a result of discussions following the spread of the new coronavirus infection and the declaration of a state of emergency, we have decided to cancel all performances in consideration of the health and safety of the audience, performers, and staff. We sincerely apologize to all those who were looking forward to the performance.”

Instead of the canceled tour, a no-audience live titled “JUNNA ROCK YOU STREAMING LIVE 2021 ~20×20~” will be live-streamed on February 21, the scheduled final day of the tour. Details including ticket sales will be announced at a later date.
