The official site for the Log Horizon: Destruction of the Round Table anime adaptation has announced the premiere date for the anime after being delayed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, along with cast additions and an actor change for a prominent role. The series will now premiere on January 13th, 2021 on Japan’s NHK-E entertainment network.
The cast additions consist of Kengo Kawanishi and Yuuko Kaida joining the cast as Touri and Saraliya, respectively while Youhei Tadano is replacing the late Keiji Fujiwara in the role of Reagan. Fujiwara voiced Regan in the first two seasons of the series before succumbing to cancer this past April.
The three new cast members will be joining current core cast members Takuma Terashima as Shiroe, Emiri Katou as Akatsuki, and Tomoaki Maeno as Naotsugu, who are reprising their roles from previous seasons of the series.
