Voice actress Marina Yamada will be celebrating her 26th birthday on March 24, 2021, and her birthday event “Marina Yamada Bakutansai 2021” will be held at the YMCA Asian Youth Center in Tokyo four days earlier, March 20.
In 2012, while in her third year at high school, she passed the audition for the second-generation members of the female idol group HKT48 and began her entertainment career as an idol. Meanwhile, she also attended the voice acting course at Yoyogi Animation Gakuin Fukuoka School and graduated in March 2018. She ended her idol activities in April 2018 and joined the voice actor agency Crocodile to begin her new career as a voice actress. She made her voice-acting debut in Kiratto Pri☆Chan as a member of its idol group Orange Girls and as Pino in Dropkick on My Devil! in the same year.
This is her first birthday event as a voice actress. She says, “I’ve always wanted to do my birthday event every year. Since I’ve heard so much about it from everyone, I’ve decided to do it this time! There are so many things I want to do, and I’m excited about it… We’re in a situation like this now, so I’d be happy if you could come and see me within your comfort zone. We have a lot of things planned to make this a special day, so please look forward to it! Penlights may be required…♪”
