Japanese Fans Rank Their Top 10 Favorite Anime Endings of 2020

Student designer Toh Ayano plays coys in a scene from the upcoming Smile at the Runway TV anime.

As a follow-up to yesterday’s article from Anime! Anime! on Japanese fan’s favorite anime openings from 2020, the popular Japanese anime website also polled their users on their favorite anime endings, again choosing some bangin’ tunes from the last year to top the rankings!

Anime! Anime! got responses from 1,176 people with 28% of them being male and 72% being female. As an aside, this poll wasn’t conducted by Crunchyroll and we didn’t have any say over the listing, we’re just as interested in what Japanese anime fans think as you are!

1. “Ray of Light” by Kim Jae-joong (Smile Down the Runway)

An amazing feat by Kim Jae-joong to not only take the top spot for opening themes but the ending themes as well! The K-pop singer must have a very dedicated following in Japan to gain this much support, but also having a great voice helps in getting that support in the first place!
