Happy Pet Life Continues in Second Cour of With a Dog AND a Cat, Every Day is Fun TV Anime

The happy pet life of Inu-kun and Neko-same continues in the second cour of the With a Dog AND a Cat, Every Day is Fun (known in Japan as Inu to Neko Docchimo Katteru to Mainichi Tanoshii), the ongoing short form TV anime adaptation based on the biographical essay manga by Hidekichi Matsumoto, and now a new key visual (below) and a new theme song performer have been revealed for the series.

 

The new theme song for the second cour, entitled “Lovely Days”, is performed by a Ayaka Ohashi. 

 

While surrounded by toys and a treats, Inu-kun squirms happily on a blanket while Neko-sama naps in the third key visual for the With a Dog AND a Cat, Every Day is Fun TV anime.

 

With a Dog AND a Cat, Every Day is Fun is directed by Seiji Kishi and features animation production by Team Till Dawn. The series chronicles the everyday adventures of an extremely cute but extremely enthusiastic dog, a cat that is loveable despite its extremely frightful facial expressions, and their extremely infatuated owner that can’t get enough of either of them.

 

The second cour of With a Dog AND a Cat, Every Day is Fun kicks off in Japan on January 15, 2021, and the first cour is currently streaming on Crunchyroll. An English language version of the original manga is also available from Vertical Comics.
