For the physical release of YOASOBI’s opening and ending theme for the second season of TV anime BEASTARS, Paru Itagaki, the award-winning manga creator of the manga, drew the cover for the limited edition and the fan club versions. The songs, “Kaibutsu” and “Yasashii Suisei” feature on the release alongside the creditless versions of the animated opening and ending themes.

The single is scheduled to be released physically on March 24, with the songs already released digitally. Both creditless opening and ending animations have already been released on TOHO Animation’s YouTube channel and can be seen below.
The first season of BEASTARS aired on Fuji TV’s +Ultra anime block from October to December 2019 alongside a weekly release on Netflix Japan. BEASTARS season two began its TV airing and Netflix Japan stream on January 6, 2021, with a worldwide release scheduled for July 2021. Netflix released the first season of the TV anime worldwide in March 2020.
